Mark's square. Pauly's exhibition of signoretto's translation of de marchi was set up in st. Mark's square in venice, april 2000. It is a famous wooden design by livio de marchi, only a master of glass could accept the challenge of reproducing his iconic design in glass, with such a grandiose result. The shirt shows the veils and all the natural details. An incredible collaboration between artists of different media, made for pauly. Pauly had a store in st. Mark's square, whenever i was in venice i visited his store. It was divided into two parts, a classical one with traditional murano pieces, the artistic part on the other hand had exciting proposals every time. I saw this sculpture there. This is number 1/9 and it stayed in the store. Some were brought to sofa by the art gallery mostly glass. I tried to catch the details. It is a masterpiece. A collector's piece, both by de marchi and pino signoretto. See less
