Gold and silver gilt decorates the front of the candlesticks while the back sides are simply painted as they were meant to only be viewed from one perspective. The tips have a metal pricket to hold pillar candles. Now, they would be fabulous on a fireplace mantel, buffet, or part of a tablescape.
