This plate is from the Spode "Landscape" pattern, based on Chinese motifs. It is a wonderful example of Spode Craftsmanship at its height. It is a very whimsical idea of a Chinese landscape,
painted in a very English fashion. There is a little cherry tree popped on a tiny island surrounded by rippling water.
The good news is the generous size of the plate, ready for a generous meal. It is a very
viewable plate if you want to display it on a wall or stand it on a shelf.
