This classic button hook has incredible Victorian style; it has a very interesting appearance that is highlighted by the end of the handle, which is a portrait of a lady's face intricately carved into the silver. The hook is monogrammed on both sides of the handle, and the piece is inscribed as being made out of sterling silver, see pictures. The condition of this Shoe Hook is secure and sturdy, there are some aging imperfections/scratches/etc due to its age and as part of its wear and tear, see pictures. This hook is a lovely small piece of every day life in the Victorian era -- it would look marvelous in any collection of silver or antiques. See less
