Place this antique coal basket next to your front door to catch umbrellas. Crafted in France circa 1780 and made of copper with a large side handle, this country decorative basket has a wide pouring mouth over a round body and base. The tall bucket is in good condition with a rich, patinated polished finish. The versatile, and traditional piece could also be used as a decorative flower jardinière or simply as a kitchen accessory over the cabinets. Small hole on the handle (see last picture).
