Fabulously rustic chic and full of character, this eye-catching timber hardwood beauty is full of purposeful utilitarian charm. Perfectly sized to serve as plant stand, extra seating on-the-fly or as a wabi-sabi cocktail or drinks table next to a chair. The organic look of the natural timber adds excellent visual interest to its profile and will complement most any design style. The gorgeous naturally aged patina of the wood is due to its waxed finish. This handsome stool measures 18” x 11½”x 11½” H/W/D; circular seat diameter 11½”; thickness 2¼”; weight approximately 15 lbs. I have taken photos in the round of all sides to show that each side in uniquely different yet complementary to the entire design. In excellent condition with age-appropriate character and wear. Since wood is an organic material, it shrinks across the grain with age so you will find there are age-appropriate tension cracks in the legs and H-stretcher which do not affect its structural integrity and definitely adds a rustic charm to the look-and-feel of the stool. Maker unknown but there is a penciled initial and number on the underside of the seat. We believe the stool was made sometime in the 1970s. Mixing a rustic chic accent character-filled piece like this stool with assorted modern pieces will allow you to create a unique, statement-look of your own!
