Willem De Kooning ( 1904 - 1997 ) the Dutch born Abstract Expressionist painter is known for his " Action Painting " style artworks. He was a part of a group of artists that became known as The New York School in the Mid Century including Jackson Pollock, Lee Krasner, Franz Kline, Arshile Gorky, Mark Rothko, Hans Hofmann, Robert Motherwell, and Clyfford Still among others. The works of De Kooning are considered to be some of the most important Abstract Modernist paintings of The 20th Century.

The rare out of print exhibition poster measures 24" W X 36" H. It is printed on high quality heavyweight paper stock with a satin finish. It is in excellent new condition with very light signs of handling. It has never been framed. There is very light minor toning on the outer margin edges that will not be visible when framed.
