The lid opens to reveal the original red interior with a lidded compartment for tea on the left and a well on the right that held the mixing bowl for the tea. Excellent condition for its age—there is a minor dent on the front top edge, not surprising given the fact that it is over 200 years old. A beautiful survivor. See less
