Antique Italian Baroque or Renaisance Revival Grand Entrance, Library, or Dining Table with Carved Mahogany Base and a Custom Cut-to-Fit Carrara Marble Top

Key Characteristics & History
Design & Style: The piece features dramatic, deeply carved "Winged Maiden" (or Winged Griffin) figural legs that taper down into heavy lion claw feet. The apron (the side skirt) is intricately detailed with a repeating floral rosette motif and a prominent North Wind / Grotesque mask carved into the center.
Era: It is typically dated to the late 19th century to early 20th century (circa 1890–1920) during the Renaissance and Baroque Revival movements.
