Antique English Staffordshire oval earthenware platter made by The Browhills Pottery Co sometime between 1872 - 1976 in a classic Roman design called Minerva and featuring a thick border with beautiful burnt orange and cream (almost a very light peach), Greek key all around and eight medallions of Minerva, the Roman Goddess of Wisdom, and a Roman urn. It is such a beautiful antique!
There is some light browning as to be expected with its age but not distracting. It displays beautifully! 20"L x 16.25"W x 1.5H
