Beautiful and tall, vintage Murano hand blown white Zanfirico ribbons and copper aventurine flecks Italian art glass decorative hourglass corseted vase. It is documented to the Fratelli Toso company. The vase has a cinched waist, with wide shoulders before reaching the neck, giving it a figural female shape. Very intricate tight net design on the ribbons. The aventurine stripes alternate between the ribbons creating a nice pattern, and glitter in any light. The inside of the mouth is worn down, and could have had a stopper at one time. Would make a great piece for any desk, vanity or coffee table. Fill it with flowers, or display it on a lighted shelf or curio cabinet. Mid-century era. Measure 11 1/2" tall x 4 1/4" wide at the base.
