We proudly present this rare and extraordinary embroidery was an Antependium for an altar .The embroidery is entirely done out of glass beads on silk , those piece are extremely rare and always spectacular, it is the case here were only two colors were used for the design white and gold on an wonderful green silk , the design is of cours baroque at it s best with stylized flowers and intricate volutes ,as this piece is with no doubt for the 17 century Italian work probably Venice , the gold and the shine of the glass was giving a wonderful feeling of richness on top of the luxurious design made to impress, nowadays just framed as a piece of art would do it justice , bringing in a decor a piece of history and rare glass embroidery , it s probably the best embroideries you can buy always made to impress they are exceptional by their quality .
