The nightstand base is a really great wood veneer that has a light linear grain and brown color that has a bit of gray in it. The drawer at the front has a lovely curved, rounded shape. Each of the legs is capped with a metal ferule. The front edge of the bottom shelf has been painted in a faux travertine to match the top. The stone was made in Italy. See less
