Well crafted and lidded ginger jar from the Bombay Company (circa 1990s). This sophisticated "Temple" jaris crafted in the iconic blue and white Chinoiserie design from the 1990s. Made of porcelain, the jar features an urn shape with a graceful lid atop a three footed pedestal base. Intricate details such as floral scrolls, a band of Greek Keys, embossed circles, and decorative accents adorn its surface, adding to its charm. With the unique and exotic features of this treasured vase we can only imagine that this would be among the exquisite items found in a Tony Duquette decorated venue.
