The glass is almost 1" thick and this … Read more Mid-century Modernist Danish glass vase with solid sterling silver grape cluster handles. The glass is almost 1" thick and this weighs 10 pounds/ 14 ounces. The vase is signed, marked, and numbered in script "Strombergshyttan" followed by the number "3997"(difficult to read the last digit). Additionally, the ring that holds the cluster (which can be easily unscrewed for polishing) is hallmarked "CCH 925 S Denmark" (possibly for C.C.Hermann of Copenhagen, Denmark working 1949-1969). Measures 4.5" wide, 12" from handle to handle, and 6.75" high. The cluster handle measures 3"long x 1 1/2" wide. It is in excellent condition. 1 owner. I did not polish all the silver, but did polish one single grape. Crafted of Strombergshyttan glass with it's characteristic light blue hue (you only perceive this looking down on the rim). See less

There is a small clear plastic washer that protects the glass from the screw head. As is with glass this thick, I see maybe one pin point size bubble- not anything one would notice unless magnified. Glass is unscratched and with no chips. less
