  • "Brian W.: Brian, I currently have it rolled and it is 12' 1" long, 12" in diameter and about 70 - 80 lbs. While I would not recommend folding it, I think we could fold it twice on width and then length to get it to ~ 3.5' x 4.5' x 2' high and 70 -80 lbs. Either way you decide, I will wrap it in plastic or paper for shipping."

  • "Mike - I will take it at $2k, just want to figure out a better shipping option. Will it be folded to ship and what are the dimensions and weight? Thanks."

  • "Brian W.: I can give you some additional data this evening. What part of the US are you located in?"

  • "Mike B.: Thank you, Mike. Do you an idea of the dimensions of the rug when folded? Any idea how much it weighs? I am looking into alternative shipping options and need a few data points. Thank you in advance. Brian"

  • "Brian W.: The rug has always been in a formal dining area that was used once or twice a quarter for family or friends meals at holidays or dinner parties. So, low traffic. Always non-smoking. Pets, yes. But we've taken good care of the rug and the dog was not allowed in this room. I just sold another piece today, so I would be willing to do $2,000 on this piece today. Thanks for your inquiry. Mike"

  • "Anita T: Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately I am traveling for the next 3 weeks until December 7th. I would be able to take more pictures at that time, but my wife cannot do it by herself. The rug is not shiny or has a sheen. It would appear to be lighter in direct sunlight but not inside. this is a very colorful piece that I'm sure you would enjoy. I will be checking email while traveling, but just not able to take additional photos. My apologies for that. Thank you."

  • "I am intetested. My last concern is that silk blend rugs sometimes have a sheen that makes it darker or lighter depending on which direction you enter the room. The rug looks more blue in direct light and more black in shade (see photo on garage warehouse floor) Is it possible to have a picture taken from the other direction of the pattern lengthwise? Easier to decide. Thank you."

  • "Anita T: Hello, the rug is a wool silk blend, purchased in High Point, North Carolina in 2001. The background and border are black. It is a very colorful piece. Thanks for your questions."

  • "Is the solid dark line around the outside rim black or blue? Is the background color in the center dark blue?"

  • "All wool? How old? Do you know where it was made? Thank you"
