American artist Louisa Chase depicts a pair of feet covered in abstract black in this etching from 1984. It almost appears as though the feet are submerged in murky water. Born in Panama, Louisa Chase now lives in Sag Harbor, New York, and has works in major museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Whitney Museum.
