A band of pink Ru Yi lappets on a turquoise ground, capped by a thin, red, trim circle, accents the top of the neck. The neck proper is decorated with two, ornate Buddhist roses, with leafy flowering vines, alternating with two, blue, Buddhist Victory Banners; both roses are topped with a green lotus flower, one rose with a pink ganoderma below, all on a dense lattice of small curling vines on a a yellow ground. The flange of the neck is accented with a band of of large, ornate, leafy, lappets ending in a band of pink and sky blue cloud and thunder meanders alternating with red and blue plum flowers, on a yellow ground and bracketed by thin red trim circles. A finely drawn, Qianjiang style, river landscape with a mountain background in traditional, Chinese, aerial perspective graces the body. A large band of green and pink glazed, Ru Yi lappets circles the foot. A dark blue, six character, Qianlong reign mark in Zhuanshu script is glazed to the inset base. The finely carved, traditional, Chinese hongmu stand is included. Circa Republic of China era, no later than mid century.
