This antique chest from France has a rectangular-shaped top, with Neoclassical case which houses three full-sized drawers flanked within fluted and chandelle carved side posts, and presented upon four petite turned legs. Each drawer has a diamond paneled motif, a repeating tulip trim outlines their rectangular shapes and makes a circular pattern at the center. The drawers are fitted with an exquisite pair of pulls and escutcheon in the circular center. The apron has a downward facing breakfront design and lovely flower heads are carved along the front. The bleached oak is complimented with a custom grey accent trim. This 19th century French commode, with its wonderfully appointed details and light finish, will be an outstanding case piece for your storage and display needs. See less
