This is an original French antique botanical chromolithograph that dates to the 1880s. It has a wonderful quality with rich natural colors. The botanical spray features beloved roses in full blossom. Note the rich detail in the beautiful red and yellow petals set amongst green foliage. Note the intricate details of the leaves and petal shadings. And, of course, note the flying insect and it's companion resting on the bottom light green branch petal. This lithograph is typical of the time period. It is in excellent antique condition consistent with age and history. It works well with all home decor styles. 10.75 x 15 inches in size. It is extremely hard to find such antique botanicals in clean condition with no age indications. This one is indeed a rare beauty. See less
