As stated … Read more This trademarked rose embellished water/wine goblet from the Madonna Inn, San Luis Obispo, California, is a timeless classic. As stated on their website, these goblets are "kind of a big deal," and are repeatedly purchased and collected by visitors. Though the inn was founded in the mid-1900's, "it wasn’t until the mid-1970s that Mr. and Mrs. Madonna found a “Flat Rose” design from the LG Wright Glass Company which complimented the Inn’s whimsical interior design. A little over a decade later, Mr. Madonna decided to commission a custom-designed goblet that would better match the now-signature rose carpeting. (Fun fact: the carpets were designed by former Disney artist Alice Turney Williams)."
