The silhouette … Read more The undulating, free form of this pretty vase is reinforced by the white curls that enliven its surface. The silhouette is flexible, moving, alive and dynamic; the double handles almost give it a human shape. The external matte graphite black enamel contrasts with the shiny vermilion red interior. A striking and noted decorative piece, this ceramic is a French production from the 1950s.

The free-form vase is in beautiful condition. Missing items due to glazing accidents should be noted as well as a small loss on the collar. The vase is of good size, impressive and demonstrative. It is a midcentury Vallaurian production. It is signed at the tip on its reverse.
