Crystalline glazed ceramics is time consuming and expensive to produce, due to the time, process and materials used.

There can be many failures when producing crystalline glazed ceramics .Actually it is art expression of artists. Each piece becomes a mesmerizing, one-of-a-kind artwork. there are no two pieces exactly the same. Each masterpiece is unique since it all custom made.

The beauty in this particular bowl is that pearlescent white crystalline over red, like ice flowers ,we has tried our effort to show those beauty from various angles. however, the images could not reflect its entire beauty , you will feel quite different by look at it closely or touch it.

The gorgeous red color of bowl is Langyao red, which is the precious traditional red glazes in China. It was first produced in the Lang Kiln ( very famous kiln)under the supervision of Lang Tingji , the pottery superintendent of the Qing Dynasty in the 18th century , so it is called "Lang Kiln Red",
it also called Bloody red of Cow or bull because it looks like the blood of bull.
Lanyao red like the color of this bowl was considered as the most difficult color to make successfully in ceramicware making .Cerramic ware with this Langyao red was very expensive even at that time. .
there was a saying " if you want to be poor, just make Langyao red" which indicated the high costs to produce a piece of ceramic ware with langyao red .
