The cotton net originally woven around the floats is soft and weathered. Each one is made up of a variety of colors. These are perfect used to fill a bowl for tabletop decor, set on a bookshelf as objets, put in a large glass apothecary jar as seaside curiosities or mixed with shells and driftwood for laid back coastal decor.

These were gathered on the shores of Alaska by a family friend who collected them each year well into old age. There are believed to have come from Japanese fishermen and traveled on the tides. See less
