A studio pottery lidded vessel by American artist Dee Schaad. Signed “Schaad” to the underside, the vessel is glazed in a light brown and green. There is ribbing down the entirety of the vessel, giving it texture. The lid is adorned with a small knob handle and spiraled ribbing.
Dee Schaad was born in Nebraska and received an MFA from Hixson-Leid College of Fine Arts at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. He taught ceramics at the University of Indianapolis for 39 years.
