A good looking pair of 18th century Spanish walnut armchairs, c.1780
Well proportioned and comfortable to sit in. Tall backs with carved acanthus leaf decoration. The arms end in a carved scroll. The legs are each joined by a stretcher with a decorative scrolling on the front and back. All joints are pegged together and are firm. Recently upholstered in an off white fabric. Overall good antique condition. Old repairs to the scrolled stretcher and losses to the tip of one acanthus leaf.
