Alvar Aalto Style Black Modernist Vase. It has a modern oval irregular shape (middle curve is off center) & the black glass is completely opaque and stunning. Even the thickness of the glass is irregular buy design.
This beauty was purchased from the estate of a local art collector, watch dealer & antique dealer who lived a very interesting life . . . including having a part in Animal House! It is not marked Alvar Aalto, but it was marketed as such. I cannot find a duplicate so can only confirm that it is in the "style" of Alvar Aalto.
