Signed Baltensperger. This piece is weighty, with no expense spared in its materials or craftsmanship. Baltensperger was a high end silversmithy in Zurich which is no longer in operation. This piece is a 1930s, interpretation of a Baroque form and would be beautiful as a centerpiece on a dining table, sideboard or center table. It also is spectacular with a floral arrangement in it.
