Navajo Native American sterling silver and tiger iron cuff bracelet made by artist Albert Jake.
This bracelet features a large oval tiger iron cabochon bezel set with a rope frame and applied to a ribbed sterling silver cuff. Tiger iron is a rock that is made up of tiger's eye quartz, black hematite and red jasper. These minerals create contrasting bands of color for a truly unique look popularly used for many sorts of ornamentation and decoration. The tiger's eye in this bracelet gives the stone chatoyancy. It is marked sterling AJAKE.

Interior of the cuff measures 5 1/2"
with an additional 1 1/4" adjustable gap.
Total circumference: 6 3/4"
Measures 2.58" straight across the widest part

Bracelet face measures .93" tall
(the face of the bracelet, north to south)
Bracelet depth from top of the coral to the underside of wrist is 2.34".


Biography from Bischoff's Gallery:

Albert Jake was born at Zuni Pueblo and has resided in the village of Ramah for many years. His father taught him the art of creating fine Navajo silverwork which includes both cluster jewelry and high quality stones in classic Navajo settings. Albert began making jewelry in 1987.
