After his victory over Ravana, Sri Rama prepares to leave for Ayodhya, Rama now told Vibheeshan that there was just one more day remaining in their fourteen years of exile. If I does not reach Ayodhya in time, his brother Bharat has threatened to end his life.

Legend has it that Raavana had a flying chariot (Pushpak) in which he flew Sita to Lanka.
After his victory over Raavana, Rama took his chariot to return home.
