Danish Modern Rosewood Bookcase by Frode Holm for Illums, 1950s.
Danish Mid-Century Modern bookcase with cabinets in Rosewood/palisander by Danish architect Frode Holm for Illums Bolighus Copenhagen, Denmark.
Very elegant and high quality with rounded edges and grooved doors with sculpted pulls. Inside cabinets are two height adjustable shelves. Upper section with six height adjustable shelves, four in veneered rosewood and two in smoked glass.
Stunning and expressive rosewood grain pattern. Very high quality craftsmanship with many beautiful details. Suitable for both living room, library and home office.
Makers mark on back: "Illums Bolighus København". Key included.
Very good original condition with only light patina consistent with age and use like small nicks and scratches. Cleaned and polished, ready for use. This piece has an attribution mark,
