Pair of Vintage 1980s Large Modern Chinoiserie Ginger Jars with Koi Fish by Jean Dange, Paris
A stunning pair of large vintage Modern Chinoiserie ginger jars from the 1980s, designed by Jean Dange, Paris. Dange collaborated with the renowned artist Fabienne Jouvin to create these exquisite pieces.
Each jar, complete with its lid, measures 9 1/4” in diameter and 10” in height. Both jars are stamped and signed on the bottom and still retain the Tozai sticker, indicating the distributor.
These rare and beautiful jars will make a striking statement in any room and complement a variety of interior styles and décor.
No chips, cracks, or repairs. The items appear to have been used only for display. I would give it a 10, but since they are not new, I would rate them 9 ¾.
