The top is in a scalloped shape and is a brilliant cobalt color with copper lustre embellishment. It is topped with a ceramic top for which to lift the lid. The tea pot itself is double sided, and shows a man in 18th century clothing with a jug in one hand and a glass in the other, refilling his libation with a smile on his face.
