Pair of Solid Walnut Danish modern side tables in the style of Peter Hivdit
Produced by Ace-Hi of Gardena, Calif., the Prelude line of furniture featured solid walnut construction and simplified (but never reductive) purity of form. This Prelude table has a truncated surfboard shape, echoing the lines of their popular coffee table, with slightly bowed edges and rounded corners. The expertly joined walnut wood has a dynamic grain pattern, offering pleasing contrast between each segment. Four tapered dowel legs fit into circular mounts beneath the tabletop.
