Original Italian Antique Engraving Print of Roman Statuary by Domenico De Rossi Published Rome 1704 presented in archival matte and contemporary gallery frame. Paper print size approx. 13 1/2″ by 18 1/2″ overall framed size 17" x 21".
A large folio, copperplate engraving of an antique statue is from Domenico de Rossiâ s work Raccolta de Statue Antiche e Moderne Data in Luce sotto I Gloriose Auspici della Santita di N. S. Papa Clemente XIâ ¦ The work was published in Rome in 1704. The original illustrations for the plates are from Pavolo Alessando Maffei. --- The work is in very good to excellent condition overall. There may be a few minor imperfections to be expected with age.
