Coat hanger in oak with maple edge, made up of three shaped elements measuring approximately 16 x 152 cm, foldable in various positions thanks to the presence of cylindrical hinges.
The coat hanger can take on multiple configurations in addition to the classic configuration with the three panels positioned in a star shape.
The coat hanger was born from an idea by Ferdinando Meccani in 1976, playing with his 9-year-old son and cutting album sheets like an accordion: from a children's game he invents a flexible household object with the possibility of infinite shapes that can easily be placed in any decor and foldable one on top of the other; therefore easily transportable.
In the 70s it will be made in prototype.
The present coat hanger with the Meccani brand in copper and the Author's signature dated 1987 is a prototype that was never put into production.
The product is accompanied by the Certification of Authenticity and Originality from the Meccani Archive. This piece has an attribution mark,
