A large and rare antique Chinese Qing Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Rouleau dragon vase, Kangxi period (1662-1722), the vase dating to the late 1600s.
The vase of slightly tapered cylindrical form, with a broad neck and flared mouth, painted in underglazed blue with various warring dragons surrounded by peonies and circular medallions between panelled diaper borders. The base having a pair of blue concentric circles to the base, the vase having a carved rosewood stand.
A similar vase is in the Victoria and Albert Museum, Gallery Location Floor 6 Room 145 ceramics room.
The vase is in very good condition, no damage or condition issues. An identical pair of vases sold at Christie's Auction NY., 21st 2014 for $32,500.
