Captivating piece of post-modern artwork by ceramics artist Mindy Brunn. Made circa the 1980's and signed "Mindy '101'" on the side. Features a delightful painting of a mauve lily on the front with its turquoise leaves going down around the side. The back is painted with a colorful geometric pattern. The enchanting sculptural handle on the top of the lid is shaped like an abstract swirling fin. The patterns are all beautifully accented with gold, and the whole piece has a lovely crackle finish. Gives off classic retro 80s vibes and will make an eye-catching small storage piece on any table, shelf or vanity. A perfect place to store jewelry or other small items.
