There … Read more A beautiful pair of vases made by Stevens & Williams in a rich pink/raspberry with a Threaded glass texture. There is a mesmerizing chartreuse inner layer of the glass that changes depending on the angle from which they are viewed. The interior color layer can also look gold at some angles and has a diamond pattern. The ruffle detail near the bottom is clear glass. Made c. 1885 in Stourbridge, England. These could be considered drinking glasses, but are stunning just for display. There are a couple spots where the Threaded detail is missing, or chipped-off, but it is very smooth. One spot near the base shows the bright, pale, green secondary color peeking through to the surface and is from the time of manufacture.
