While Verlys is typically characterized as French, they produced items in France and the United States. Research suggests that hand-etched marks, such as the one found on the inverse of this piece, indicate a U.S. manufactured item, presumably later 20th century. This recent vintage item is in good to very good condition with faint indications of wear from normal household use (e.g., scratches on the underside of the foot). There are no observed chips, cracks or evidence of repair. Please inspect photos carefully for evidence of condition, always happy to provide additional images upon request. less
