"Night Moves" - Abstract Etching in Ink on Paper (Artist's Proof)
Textural abstract print by Doris Ann Warner (American, 1925-2010). This piece is composed of overlapping fabric patterns like cheesecloth. The overlapping creates the effect of patches of varied translucency. This piece is printed on tan paper.

Doris Ann Warner began as an Abstract Expressionist painter, but was primarily known for stone carving as well as abstract female figures, which emphasized body movement through rhythmic flow of mass and line. Warner studied at the University of California Santa Cruz as well as Pietrasanta, Italy, with Professor Pasquale Martini in 1988.
