An Antique American primitive Redware Pottery Moonshine - Liquor jug. Small - Half Gallon Size. Made in the Southeastern USA Region. Based on the Form and Salt Glaze Color it was most likely made in West Virginia area. It has an assortment of surface glaze imperfections that would have occurred during the kiln firing process. Circa Mid 1800s. It has a Small Chip on the Spout but otherwise has no damage. It measures 9 1/4 Inches tall x 6 Inches wide - Long.
