A sinuous rattan framed armchair featuring a woven honeycomb cane back crafted in the California coastal organic modern style by McGuire. The chair has a gracefully curved pole rattan back that becomes the arms and front legs. The rattan is reinforced with leather rawhide strapping in a cream tone on the exposed joints. The seat has a fitted loose seat cushion in the original vintage fabric that still shows well. Solid and sturdy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Works great as a desk chair. From an estate in San Francisco, California. McGuire plaque on bottom.
