It belonged to my uncle - a renaissance man who loved the 1920 but lived and enjoyed fully the 20th century. It is very strong, heavy and sturdy. I wanted to keep it for myself since it’s super comfortable but I need to take care of my aging parents living abroad and turning the proceeds from sales into airplane tickets is more important to me. The chair is also featured in the Architectural magazine covering my uncle’s apartment in the September 1985 edition. I have taken a picture from the magazine to show it to you as well. Happy will be the person who buys this chair as it would serve for many many more years to come and can be passed on to future generations, it is that well made aside from the fact that is absolutely beautiful. It has been in my family for over 70 years and I am not aware of any repairs done to it. All I can say is that it is beautiful, very well made, sturdy, strong, heavy and also featured in architectural magazine collector’s edition. less
