This chair has been in my family for over 70 years. It belonged to my uncle - a renaissance man … more This chair has been in my family for over 70 years. It belonged to my uncle - a renaissance man who loved the 1920 but lived and enjoyed fully the 20th century. It is very strong, heavy and sturdy. I wanted to keep it for myself since it’s super comfortable but I need to take care of my aging parents living abroad and turning the proceeds from sales into airplane tickets is more important to me. Wanting to keep it for myself I commissioned an upholstery to make cushions for the chair and two brand new are included. They have never been used. The chair is also featured in the Architectural magazine covering my uncle’s apartment in the September 1985 edition. I have taken a picture from the magazine to show it to you as well. Happy will be the person who buys this chair as it would serve for many many more years to come and can be passed on to future generations, it is that well made aside from the fact that is absolutely beautiful. less
