A very UNIQUE and RARE antique DEHUA aka Blanc de Chine vase
Exquisite, slightly compressed form
Two bats with spread wings on both sides
It their mouths they are holding rings with hanging traditional Chinese charms or amulets
In Chinese culture bats are lucky creatures, symbol of wisdom, intelligence, prosperity and wealth
Rich, shiny cream glaze
Circa 17th/18th century, China, Kangxi (1662-1722) period
Measurements: Approximately 9" tall x 5" x 4.25"
