This vintage mid 20th century framed color lithograph (not offset) by listed artist Johnny Friedlaender (1912-1992) depicts an abstracted image on a sienna background. Includes a certificate of authenticity. Dimensions: 28" x 35.5" (Frame). Framed and ready to hang.
Although Johnny Friedlaender pursued watercolor and oil painting throughout his career, describing himself as a “painter who engraves,” his artistic legacy centers on color printmaking, techniques of which he pioneered. He was a leading German/French 20th-century artist, whose works have been exhibited in Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Japan and the United States.
