Late 1800's sterling silver dinner bell, from silversmith George Unite, Birmingham England. This dome shaped bell has elaborate silver work, including openwork and jeweled finial.
The ringer sound, which still works, is made by twisting the jeweled knob.
It has been lightly polished but will benefit from more detailed cleaning and polishing. It is not in perfect condition. From many years of useful service at the dinner table, it has inherited dings and dents. Please study the photos carefully for a full description of condition.
