Cool piece of Italian glass by Alfredo Barbini, 1980s vintage.
Some big 80s style in this handmade piece. Blown into a bowl form, the amberina colored glass is carefully folded in, creating a sculptural, semi-flattened form. The shape makes for a great vase centerpiece.
Measures 13.5"x 8"x 9.5". In excellent condition with minor/nil handling wear, no chips or cracks. Engrave signed "Barbini Murano" on the low edge. Undated.
