Offered is a carved and sculpted Teak wood pepper mill that has an integrated salt shaker designed by Richard Nissen and made in Langå, Denmark at the Trævarefabrik workshop some time in the mid 1960s.
The Teak wood stopper on the top is easy to remove to fill the upper chamber with salt granules (with a small funnel, preferably), and the bottom has a red plastic stopper that plugs the pepper-corn chamber on the bottom. The pepper-corns are ground by twisting the two chambers from the middle.
It measures 3.25" in diameter, 3.75" in height (4.325" H to the tip of the salt chamber stopper).

There is a minor nick along the upper rim (see photos), and some patina on the grinding mechanism at the bottom. Both the Teak and plastic stoppers are intact and fit snugly into their respective holes. It does not come with a small funnel, however, one would make it easier to fill the upper and lower chambers with the granulated salt and pepper corns. Any wear is commensurate with its age and past usage. less
