Gaetano Sciolari was a Mid-Century Italian designer that specialized in lighting as his family had been in the lighting business since 1892. Sciolari’s most famous works were ones he started designing in the 1950s through the 1980s that showcased designs inspired by the space age that was beginning to influence home decor. He designed for both Italian and American lighting companies. This chandelier is from the New York firm Lightolier Lighting. It features stacked circular tempered glass. Please note, our warehouse does not allow for ceiling mounted lighting to be installed for photography. We use a heavy duty steel clothes rack. This sometimes results in a tilt of the fixture as pictured. When installed from a ceiling this will hang level. Thank you.
